A beautiful Jewish celebration of love under the Suffolk sun — from chuppah ceremony to Israeli dancing, at one of Suffolk's most enchanting private estates.

UNDER THE CHUPPAH: SEA & LUKE'S JEWISH WEDDING AT BOXTED HALL, SUFFOLK
Some venues just feel like they were waiting for the right couple. And when Sea & Luke pulled up to Boxted Hall — this gorgeous moated manor house tucked away in 250 acres of Suffolk parkland — it was one of those perfect matches that just made sense. A black tie garden party, a chuppah ceremony under the open sky, Israeli dancing that had the entire marquee shaking, and 120 of their favourite people celebrating late into a perfect summer evening.
This was a Jewish wedding that honoured tradition while feeling completely, unmistakably Sea & Luke. Summery, wholesome, and one hell of a celebration.

"We knew from our very first conversation with Sea & Luke that this was going to be something special. A Jewish ceremony in the Suffolk countryside, Israeli dancing, a black tie garden party — the energy these two have is absolutely infectious, and we couldn't wait to capture it." — Dominic & Ruby
THE MORNING: GETTING READY AT THE HALL
One of the beautiful things about Boxted Hall is that everyone stays on site. The bridal party, the groomsmen, the families — everyone waking up together on the morning of the wedding, the whole estate exclusively theirs. There's an intimacy to that which you just can't replicate.

Sea and her girls took over the dining room downstairs for bridal prep, and from the moment Hayley Jessica started on makeup at 7:15am, the energy was building. Bridesmaids Dayna, Katie, Olivia, and Ellis (Luke's sister — pulling double duty as bridesmaid AND the unofficial group photo wrangler), plus Sea's three nieces Bar, Roni, and Gali as the most adorable flower girls. Sea's mum Sue and sister Tami right there in the middle of it all. Hair by Leonea and Alanna, makeup by Hayley — the whole room just buzzing with that gorgeous pre-wedding excitement.
And then there was Sea getting into her Elyse Bridal Design dress. Those moments where everything goes quiet for a second, and mum's trying not to cry, and the bridesmaids are all just... yeah. We live for those moments.

Meanwhile, Luke got the luxury of a lie-in (the groom's ultimate wedding morning privilege). His groomsmen — Luke (yes, another Luke), Dami, Lewis, and Ollie — arrived at the venue for about 1pm, and with his dad David as best man, the afternoon prep had that relaxed, easy feel. Lads in black tie, taking their time, soaking it all in before the main event.
"There's something really special about a wedding where everyone has stayed the night before. You walk into Sea's bridal prep and the whole family is already there, already emotional, already buzzing. And Luke's morning was so calm — just him, his dad, his mates, getting ready together in this incredible house. Both energies were perfect." — Dominic & Ruby
THE CHUPPAH CEREMONY: TRADITION MEETS SUFFOLK SUNSHINE
If there's a single image that sums up Sea & Luke's wedding, it's the chuppah standing in the grounds of Boxted Hall with the Suffolk countryside stretching out behind it. And the detail that got us — the draping across the top of the chuppah was Sea's late grandfather's Jewish scarf. The moment Sue told us about it, we knew we had to capture every angle of that beautiful piece of family history.

Guests arrived from 3pm to the sound of Georgie Rose singing, and as 120 people gathered around the chuppah, you could feel the atmosphere shift into something really sacred. The rabbi conducted the ceremony beautifully, blending tradition with warmth, and when it came to the moment everyone was waiting for — Luke smashing the glass — the eruption of joy was unreal.

That first kiss, right after the glass shattered. We're not going to pretend we weren't emotional behind our cameras. Sea had specifically asked us to make sure we caught this exact moment, and honestly it was impossible to miss — the whole crowd was on their feet, the cheering was incredible, and those two were just completely lost in each other.

"Jewish ceremonies have this incredible energy that builds and builds until the breaking of the glass, and then it just explodes. The chuppah draped with Sea's grandfather's scarf, the rabbi's words, Luke's face as Sea walked towards him, and then that moment — the glass, the kiss, the roar from the crowd. We've photographed weddings all over the world, and this was one of the most emotionally powerful ceremonies we've ever witnessed." — Dominic
COCKTAILS, CANAPÉS & GEORGIE ROSE
After the ceremony, guests spilled out onto the lawns for cocktails and canapés — Spin & Shake behind the bar mixing drinks while Georgie Rose carried on singing for another hour and a half. The summer sun was doing its thing, the Suffolk parkland looking absolutely stunning, and there was that gorgeous buzz of a post-ceremony celebration where everyone's just happy and buzzing and slightly teary.
"Boxted Hall is one of those venues where you genuinely don't know which way to point the camera because everything is gorgeous. The moat, the gardens, the parkland — it's a photographer's dream. But honestly, Sea & Luke made it effortless. We barely had to direct them. They just looked at each other and the magic happened." — Ruby
This was our window for portraits too, and Boxted Hall delivered. The moat, the walled garden with the River Glem running through it, the sweeping tree-lined drive, the parkland — every direction you turned there was something beautiful. Sea looked absolutely incredible in her Elyse Bridal Design gown with her Lace & Favour shoes, and Luke in his Hawes & Curtis black tie... these two were made for this.

INTO THE MARQUEE: ISRAELI DANCING & BIG VIBES
And then came the moment Sea had told us about from the very beginning, the bit she'd written in capital letters with exclamation marks. The bit that was always going to be absolutely epic.
At 5:45pm, guests made their way into the marquee — beautifully dressed by Boom Ting Bunting with Miller Marquees providing the structure. The London Function Band were already on stage. And when Sea & Luke made their entrance at 6pm, what followed was something we'll genuinely never forget.
Israeli dancing. And when Sea said "big vibes" in her planning notes, she was not exaggerating. The entire marquee was on its feet, the energy was through the roof, the band was absolutely smashing it, and Sea & Luke were right in the centre of this incredible whirlwind of dancing and joy and tradition. If you've never experienced Israeli dancing at a wedding, just imagine the most joyful, chaotic, beautiful thing you can think of and then multiply it by about ten.
"We need to talk about the Israeli dancing. In over a decade of shooting weddings around the world, this was one of the most electrifying things we've ever witnessed. The whole marquee erupted. People were being lifted, the band was incredible, and Sea & Luke were just beaming. We shot hundreds of frames in about twenty minutes because every single second was pure magic." — Dominic & Ruby
DINNER, SPEECHES & A BIRTHDAY SURPRISE
TFS Catering took care of dinner and it was stunning — the kind of meal that had people properly talking about the food, which is always a good sign. Daisy Do Events had the florals looking gorgeous throughout the marquee, and as the evening light started to change, the whole setting just glowed.
The speeches hit every note. Luke went first — the groom setting the tone, which we always think takes real courage. Then Sue, mother of the bride, who had the room in absolute bits. David followed — best man AND father of the groom, wearing both hats beautifully. And then there was a surprise birthday moment for Sea's brother-in-law Eli, turning 50, complete with a little cake. The kind of personal touch that makes you remember this isn't just a wedding, it's a family.
"Luke speaking first really set the tone for the whole evening. And then Sue got up and... we won't give away what she said but there wasn't a dry eye in the marquee. David doing double duty as best man and father of the groom was brilliant — the pride on his face all day had been obvious, but hearing him put it into words was really special." — Dominic & Ruby
FIRST DANCE & DANCING UNTIL MIDNIGHT
First dance at half eight, and then The London Function Band took over and didn't let up. These guys were phenomenal — the production lighting transforming the marquee into this incredible party space, and Sea & Luke's guests absolutely brought the energy. No evening guests to arrive, no cake cutting to pause for — just pure, uninterrupted celebration from first dance to midnight.
The band played two incredible sets with playlists filling the gaps between, and the dance floor never emptied. Not once. That tells you everything you need to know about this crowd.
"Some weddings wind down gradually. Sea & Luke's just kept going. The London Function Band were absolutely phenomenal — you could tell they were feeding off the crowd's energy, and the crowd was feeding off theirs. We were supposed to be packing up our kit at one point and found ourselves just... standing there watching. Couldn't help it." — Dominic & Ruby
A LOVE STORY WITH SOUL
What made Sea & Luke's wedding so unforgettable wasn't just one thing. It was the grandfather's scarf draped over the chuppah. It was the way Luke looked at Sea during the ceremony. It was the Israeli dancing that brought 120 people to their feet. It was Sue's speech. It was the summer sun on the Suffolk parkland. It was the way these two have built something so warm and genuine that you feel it the moment you're around them.

They wanted summery, wholesome, and a celebration. They got all three, and then some.
Jay & Ferne, from the first moment we met you both, we knew your wedding was going to be one we'd remember forever. Thank you for trusting us to capture it, for making us feel like part of the day rather than just the photographers, and for throwing one of the best castle weddings we've ever had the privilege of documenting. This is just the beginning for you three, and we couldn't be more excited to see what comes next.
Sea & Luke, thank you for trusting us with your incredible day. Thank you for the Israeli dancing that we're still talking about weeks later. Thank you for letting us be part of something so joyful, so meaningful, and so completely full of love. We left Boxted Hall with full hearts and the biggest smiles — and we know this is just the beginning of your story together.
With all our love,
Dominic and Ruby xx
